Burns & McDonnell in Columbus, OH is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with standard engineering techniques, design updates, and project support across market groups. Responsibilities vary by market, including Global Facilities and Power sectors, with cross-discipline collaboration and learning opportunities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field, ABET preferred, enrollment in a related program, a 3.0+ GPA, and strong communication and analytical

Formación

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation preferred.
• Currently enrolled, in good standing, in a post-secondary program related to the department work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship/related consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus/community activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager learner; ability to grow in the field.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Assist in the design and updating of engineering systems.
• Support lead engineers with various project duties.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
