Enercon Services invites motivated Mechanical Engineering students to join our internship program in Tampa, FL. You will work with licensed engineers and senior staff on real energy and infrastructure projects, gaining hands‑on design, calculations, and field support experience.

We expect ABET‑accredited graduates or near‑graduates with strong coursework and a readiness to contribute from day one. The internship offers exposure to aviation fueling, oil & gas, and power generation projects.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor’s from an ABET‑accredited school in Mechanical Engineering or related major.
• Preferred graduation window: Dec 2027 – Jun 2028.
• Available to start internship in May or June 2027.
• Preferred courses: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, Statics.
• Interest in energy infrastructure, industrial facilities, or power generation.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Willingness to travel for client and company projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and project execution under licensed engineers and senior staff.
• Assist with development and review of calculations, specs, datasheets, and design documents.
• Perform engineering research and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment.
• Assist with P&ID reviews, equipment layouts, piping design, and process flow evaluations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary project meetings and design reviews.
• Support field investigations, site visits, and data collection.
• Maintain project documentation and support QA activities.
