Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support a range of engineering and consulting projects in the Pipeline & Power Generation Group.

The internship provides hands-on experience with technical calculations, design documents, field support, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Ideal candidates are Mechanical Engineering majors with ABET accreditation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to travel to client sites and work outdoors when required.
• Willingness to climb stairs and ladders at project sites.
• Available to start internship in May or June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and project execution under supervision of licensed engineers and senior staff.
• Assist with development and review of calculations, specifications, datasheets, and design documents.
• Perform engineering research and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment.
• Assist with field investigations, site visits, and data collection.
• Maintain project documentation and support quality assurance activities.
