Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a motivated Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program in Houston, with opportunities to learn about gathering, processing, treating, transmission, storing and export of natural gas and liquids. You will gain hands-on exposure to process simulation, gas/flow measurements, and equipment maintenance in a dynamic environment.

The internship requires enrolled students in an engineering degree with sophomore-level coursework remaining, and a willingness to travel and learn

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical).
• Minimum sophomore level coursework completed; self-motivated and engaged in activities outside studies.
• Above average GPA encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with assets in the energy portfolio and gain experience in gas/liquids processing and transmission.
• Assist in process simulation, system modeling, and field operations support.
