Job summary

Enercon invites applications for a Pipeline Engineering Intern (Part-Time) starting January 2027, in the Peachtree Corners, GA area. You'll collaborate with senior engineers on pipeline design, oil and gas systems, fueling infrastructure, and related projects while gaining hands-on experience.

This role targets ABET-accredited programs and is ideal for students in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering with strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be local to the greater Atlanta area and able to be in office a min of 16 hours a week.
• Available to start as a PT Intern in January or February 2027.
• Completed minimum 2+ years of coursework
• Basic understanding of engineering principles
• Familiar with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
• Prior intern/engineering work experience highly considered
• Interest in energy and/or oil and gas pipeline system designs
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Ability to effectively problem solve
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns
• Must be able to work outside
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced engineers on energy projects and gain exposure to pipeline design and related systems.
• Build technical knowledge and problem-solving skills through hands-on tasks.
• Contribute to meaningful projects that support clients and communities.
