Job summary

Enercon Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Georgia to work alongside licensed engineers and technical staff on diverse energy projects. You will help with design, calculations, and equipment evaluations while gaining field exposure.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an ABET‑accredited Mechanical Engineering degree, can start in May/June 2027, and are willing to travel for client sites. Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication are helpful.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Available to start internship in May or June 2027.
• Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Willingness to travel for client projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and project execution under supervision of licensed engineers.
• Assist with engineering calculations, specifications, datasheets, and design documents.
• Perform engineering research and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment.
• Assist with P&ID reviews, equipment layouts, piping design, and process flow evaluations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary project meetings and site data collection.
