Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Mansfield, OH, to support maintenance, design, and operation improvements. Qualifications

• Enrollment in BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
• Completion of at least sophomore year by Summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, modernize, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and reports; interpret schematics.
• Analyze operating performance and SOPs; make improvement recommendations.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and cost control of maintenance/engineering projects.
• Support various projects to assist the business.
