Cleveland-Cliffs offers a best-in-class internship program in the steel industry, pairing students with engineering and operational leaders to work on real-world problems in Toledo, OH. Mechanical Engineering Interns will assist in predictive and corrective maintenance, design evaluation, and cost-controlled projects under supervision.

Competenze

Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or other related technical degree.
Completion of at least sophomore year by the summer of 2027.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Mansioni

Recommend and/or perform predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
Research, design, evaluate, install, modernize, redesign, operate, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Analyze current operating performance and SOPs and make recommendations for improvement.
