Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Chicago to assist with standard design and updates of engineering systems, support lead engineers, and contribute to project tasks across Aviation & Federal, Global Facilities, Power, and Transmission & Distribution markets. Enrolled students with strong communication and problem-solving skills will gain practical experience.

Eligible candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field, have a minimum 3.0

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program related to the department work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
