Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering co-op for a 6-month term starting January 2027. You will contribute to testing, development and design of existing and new products, reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering (ME).

You will gain hands-on experience in lab setups, CAD work, and prototyping while collaborating with engineers, tech-ops, and other teams across the business; this is a comprehensive internship offering meaningful project work and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
• Completed 2nd or 3rd year in the program.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude from coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lab test set-up and perform experiments.
• Work with 3D CAD, learning basics of CAM/CNC to support prototyping.
• Collaborate with a diverse, dynamic, multifunctional team environment.
