Job summary

Mechnical Engineering Intern at MKS Inc. in Broomfield, CO will partner with the Engineering Team to support engineering activities. In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager, Product Development.

This 6-month internship begins in January 2027 and offers meaningful work, project assignments, and exposure to different divisions of the business. You will gain hands-on experience with designs, analyses, testing, and prototype fabrication.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor).
• Hands-on skills in a laboratory environment.
• Comfortable with mechanical and electrical hardware.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Engineering Team with Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging.
• Help to Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
• Support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.
