Job summary

HDR is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Atlanta, GA. Join a team that designs energy-efficient, high-performance facilities and gain hands-on experience on real projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, have strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be comfortable with Office tools. This is a temporary, full-time internship with mentoring and growth opportunities.

In the role of Mechanical Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects

• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Experience with REVIT building information modeling software
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
