Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an engineering student for an internship at the Lyman, SC facility. The role involves supporting both the Lyman Engineering group and Corporate Engineering with improvement projects for the assembly plant.

Eligible students will work on CAD drafting, product understanding, and data-driven process improvements, with a shift and housing considerations noted. The position offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, learning SEW products and applications, and

Qualifications

• Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal.
• SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD knowledge or other software required for the job.
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
• Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to develop process improvement proposals.

Responsibilities

• Technical communications and documentation of engineering projects using MS Office.
• Occasional travel for sales calls and other customer support functions.
• Develop understanding of SEW products and applications.
• Operate 3D printers to produce examples of tools/solutions.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving in a production environment.
• CAD drafting for special parts design or shop tools and layouts.

About the Role

Currently in this position, the student will work in the Lyman, SC facility with both the Lyman Engineering group and Corporate Engineering group contributing to improvement projects that support the technical and shop staff of the Lyman assembly plant.

Pay Range: $21.29-$22.29/Hr. depending on housing needs.

Shift: 1st shift

Education: Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program at a University/College
