SEW-Eurodrive, Inc. in Wellford, SC seeks a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op. The student will work with the Corporate Engineering group and IG Engineering on improvement projects that support technical, sales, and shop staff of the IG assembly plant.

Pay ranges between $19 and $20 per hour, with 1st shift and housing considerations. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in an engineering program and able to read and follow technical documents; SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
• Enrolled in an engineering program at a university/college.
• Familiar with SolidWorks or AutoCAD and reading technical documents.

Responsabilités

• Document and support engineering projects using Microsoft Office tools.
• CAD drafting in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for parts design or shop layouts.
• Understand gear reducer torque, horsepower sizing criteria.
• Interact professionally with IG internal customers in office and shop.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
