Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an engineering student for a hands-on student position at the Lyman, SC facility, collaborating with Engineering groups on improvement projects. The role pays $21.29–$22.29 per hour, 1st shift, and requires current enrollment in an engineering program.

Training and tools like SolidWorks/AutoCAD are available, with opportunities to log and analyze process data. Responsibilities include technical documentation, CAD drafting, 3D printing, and shop-floor troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal.
• SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD knowledge or other software required for the job.
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
• Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to develop process improvement proposals.

Responsibilities

• Technical communications and the use of Microsoft Office software tools to document/support engineering projects.
• Occasional travel for sales calls and other customer support functions.
• Develop an understanding of SEW products and their applications.
• Operate 3D printers to produce examples of tools/solutions.

About the Role

Currently in this position, the student will work in the Lyman, SC facility with both the Lyman Engineering group and Corporate Engineering group contributing to improvement projects that support the technical and shop staff of the Lyman assembly plant. Pay Range: $21.29-$22.29/Hr. depending on housing needs. Shift: 1st shift Education: Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program at a University/College

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. SEW-EURODRIVE provides a generous benefits package to all full time employee. These benefits start on DAY ONE!
