Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE, located in Lyman, SC, is seeking an engineering student intern to assist the Lyman Engineering group with improvement projects supporting shop staff. The role requires enrollment in an engineering program, proficiency with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD, and the ability to document work with Microsoft Office.

• Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal.
• Must have good SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD knowledge or other software required for the job.
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
• Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to develop process improvement proposals.

About the Role

Currently in this position, the student will work in the Lyman, SC facility with the Lyman Engineering group, contributing to improvement projects that support the technical and shop staff of the Lyman assembly plant.

Job Description

Pay Range: $21.29-$22.29/Hr. depending on housing needs.

Shift: 1st shift

Education: Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program at a University/College

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
