Freeport is seeking a mechanical engineering professional to join our team. You will participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures, identify corrective actions, and help implement technologies to reduce downtime, ensuring continuous production.

You will report on KPIs, analyze CMMS data, evaluate existing processes onsite, and make actionable recommendations. The role may require non-standard schedules including shift work in a 24/7 operation, with pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of Mechanical Engineering.
• Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Aufgaben

• Participate as a team member to perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies.
• Consider cost impact for recommended action plans for correcting downtime issues on installed equipment.
• Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures.
• Reports on Key Performance Indices.
• Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and prepare reports.
• Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and make recommendations for improvement.
• Perform other duties as required.
