Quanta Services, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The role combines hands-on mechanical/piping engineering with project leadership, supporting concepts through startup.

You will develop mechanical design deliverables, manage scope and budget, coordinate with vendors, and serve as a key technical liaison among clients and internal teams. A BS in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, including proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Preferred: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and piping design deliverables for energy facilities.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activities.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for the client across disciplines.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure code‑compliant designs.
