Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of relevant industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute within cross‑functional teams, both as a leader and participant.
  • Experience applying structured problem‑solving methodologies such as A3 and Six Sigma.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Strong project management skills from definition to installation and final documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex issues with engineers, maintenance technicians, and operators; implement process improvements.
  • Design, specify, procure, and install mechanical equipment for new and existing processes.
  • Lead the mechanical scope of engineering projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Prioritize projects balancing immediate needs with longer‑term objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors for equipment placement and installations.
  • Identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions to processes and equipment.
  • Apply LEAN methodologies to improve performance, capability, reliability, and efficiency.
