Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Process Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at the Ravena Cement Plant in NY. The 10‑week, paid internship starts June 1, 2027, offering hands‑on experience in cement production and sustainability projects.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, gain exposure to process optimization, monitoring, data analysis, and safety, and present your learnings to the executive team at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist in optimizing cement production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and control process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
• Collect and analyze data related to production, quality control, and environmental performance.
• Support sustainability initiatives and assess environmental impact within the plant.
• Present learnings and contributions to leadership at internship end.
