Job summary

Amrize invites applications for a Health & Safety Intern (Summer 2027) at the Morgan, UT cement plant. This 10-week paid internship starts June 1, 2027 and offers hands-on safety experience and mentorship in a high-performance construction materials environment.

You'll work on safety programs, field inspections, and daily safety interactions with plant personnel and contractors while developing analytics and reporting skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, database systems, and analytics.
• Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business first hand.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Tech savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong relationship building skills and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, initiative and integrity.
• Self-motivated with an ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

• Work to ensure plant personnel and contractors operate safely.
• Revitalize and update current safety programs.
• Interact daily with employees in the field while refining safety procedures.
