Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support design efforts across markets, with emphasis on industrial projects like semiconductors and data centers. You will work under a Senior Engineer in a cross-disciplinary team including architects, engineers, and contractors.

The role involves sizing systems, performing calculations, and creating drawings and specifications. A PE license, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks are required, with strong MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a consulting or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components (pumps, coils, heat exchangers, fans).
• Perform heating/cooling load calculations and HVAC equipment selections.
• Size air and water distribution piping and ductwork; perform ventilation calculations.
