Dynavac, headquartered in Hingham, MA, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to drive the design of high‑vacuum process equipment. You will lead concept-to-completion with SolidWorks mastery, generate manufacturing drawings, and validate vacuum/thermal designs while coordinating with internal teams and customers.

Requires expert SolidWorks skills, strong drawing standards, and 3–7 years of mechanical design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of related experience.
• Expert SolidWorks proficiency and ability to create 2D drawings.
• Strong knowledge of vacuum and thermal design principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Independently design and optimize complex mechanical systems per standards.
• Create detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Evaluate customer proposals and specifications for feasibility.
• Prepare and present design reviews to customers.
• Travel to customer sites occasionally.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and assist procurement with BOM items.
