engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks an experienced mechanical design engineer to lead design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems from concept to production in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, engineering analysis, prototyping, validation and production release. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 7+ years of design experience, with expertise in vacuum systems, high-voltage assemblies, 3D CAD, GD&T, FMEA,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline is required.
At least seven years of mechanical design and product development experience.
Experience with vacuum systems, high-voltage assemblies, 3D CAD, GD&T, production releases, and tolerance analysis; semiconductor or capital equipment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and lead mechanical and electromechanical systems from concept through production.
Perform CAD modeling and engineering analysis; prototype and validate designs.
Manage production release and lead design reviews and risk assessments.
Support vacuum and high-voltage assemblies and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and engineering teams; mentor junior engineers.
