Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for Lunar Permanence avionics packaging in the Greater Seattle area. You will contribute to the full design cycle of flight avionics, create CAD models and drawings, and collaborate across Electrical, Systems, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure performance and reliability in harsh environments.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• Experience designing rugged electronics enclosures is required.
• Familiar with GD&T and drafting standards (ASME Y14.5).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a member of a cross-disciplinary team in a fast-paced design environment.
• Participate in the entire design cycle of flight and mission critical avionics.
• Support developmental trade studies and create mechanical interface definitions.
