Worley in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to support mechanical deliverables across oil, gas, and petrochemical projects. The role partners with project teams to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality outcomes and to develop equipment data sheets and bid evaluations.

You will lead design reviews, calculations, and drawings, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with procurement and construction activities to meet schedules and budgets.

Competenze

• Proven experience with mechanical engineering scope on brownfield and greenfield projects in oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, and bulk materials.
• Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detail Design phases.
• Demonstrated expertise in materials, design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of mechanical equipment.
• Experience with ASME, API, and related standards.

Mansioni

• Lead development, review, and approval of specifications, design calculations, and drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and tanks.
• Ensure deliverables comply with codes, standards, and Worley requirements.
• Coordinate with piping, process, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, and procurement teams to align with project requirements.
• Develop equipment data sheets, requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and quality oversight.
• Support procurement and construction activities and ensure timely delivery.
