Job summary

Worley is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Level II to lead multidisciplinary projects in the Long Beach/Monrovia area. You will guide execution, mentor engineers, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in alignment with procedures.

The role demands extensive experience in the petroleum-chemical sector, equipment knowledge, and strong communication while coordinating with project teams and customers to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in petroleum-chemical industry and refinery experience.
• Experience with mechanical equipment and project design/execution.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and discipline deliverables.
• Update schedules and progress reports.
• Develop/check specs, data sheets, bids, and POs.
• Coordinate with vendors, other disciplines, and clients.
• Maintain quality deliverables through procurement and work share.
