You will finish incomplete designs, work with a team, and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience, strong CAD/CAM/MATLAB skills, Inventor proficiency, and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Superior computer skills with CAD, CAM, and MATLAB/LabVIEW.
• Proficient in Inventor or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC design; PE license is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish competence a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creates specifications for new concepts and ensures manufacturability.
• Assists manufacturing during prototyping and production with follow-up engineering.
• Ensures designs meet market, safety, quality, performance, and durability requirements.
• Leads projects and coordinates with the design team for full production integration.
• Designs prototypes for sales, marketing, manufacturing and service.
• Engages consultants or internal specialists for CAE analysis and expertise as needed.
• Analyzes faults and applies HVAC technology to improve designs.
• Leads design, safety, and cost manufacturing reviews throughout projects.
• Ensures development complies with codes and produces correct documentation.
• Works with manufacturing engineers to determine engineering changes.
• Reviews product documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Develops feasibility and testing methods with suitable parameters.
