Design HVAC systems for commercial buildings and facilities, using AutoCAD and Revit to develop engineering models and plans. Perform load calculations and equipment sizing, conduct field studies and construction observations, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and other disciplines.
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering is required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or Inventor. Zero to five years of mechanical or HVAC design experience is preferred; EIT/FE certification and knowledge of construction, ASHRAE codes, and specifications are preferred.
