RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I for Ground Based Effector (GBE). This onsite role involves design, development, and documentation of components for missile systems, with collaboration across engineering and supplier teams. A DoD Secret clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.

The candidate will support production, perform design reviews, and contribute to technical decisions. Prior CAD experience and hardware assembly are expected; travel may be involved.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields.
• 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling CAD tools and hardware construction.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for tactical missile systems.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and suppliers to develop design solutions.
• Support factory and suppliers with product development and troubleshooting.
• Interface with teams to resolve technical challenges and meet schedule goals.
• Prepare technical justification analyses for reviews.
