Amrize in Midlothian, TX is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I to support plant operation and maintenance while developing skills in CBM programs.

The Mechanical Engineer, New Graduate will join the Build4Growth Program—a 14-month cement manufacturing learning path with blended online and on-the-job experiences.

Travel is limited (<10%), and the role emphasizes safety, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement as you build your career with Amrize.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
• 0-3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure safe operation.
• Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance and vibration analysis.
• Develop PMRs and BOMs for new equipment and manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate SAP PMR optimization and provide technical support for maintenance.
