Job summary

Stillpoint AEC seeks a Mechanical Engineer with current HVAC design experience for buildings in MEP consulting. You will develop system layouts, perform load calculations, specify equipment, and coordinate with architectural and electrical teams across diverse project types.

The role offers hybrid/onsite work, opportunities for project leadership, and support for PE licensure, continuing education, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• HVAC and mechanical building systems design experience in MEP/AEC required.
• Professional Engineer licensure preferred; EIT considered.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and mechanical building systems including air distribution and central plants.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and energy analyses.
• Develop layouts, ductwork, piping, schedules, and control sequences.
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and construction documents.
