Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer EIT/PE with 3–5+ years of HVAC design experience for commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities. The role is hybrid, offering design, energy modeling, and cross-discipline coordination.

The candidate will contribute to conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings and specifications, and will coordinate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance and constructability. PE is a plus; Revit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC design for commercial/institutional/mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical design for new construction and renovations with mission-critical exposure.
• Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, drawings, specs, and energy modeling.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance, coordination, and constructability.
• Support construction administration: RFIs, submittals, site visits, and budget tracking.
• Engage with clients to understand design needs and contribute to solution development.
• Develop technical and project management skills alongside senior engineers.
