Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter to support the design and manufacturing of custom modular wall systems and architectural products in Fort Worth, TX. You will create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using Autodesk Inventor and Vault, ensuring production-ready designs and accurate documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years drafting/design in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience using Autodesk Vault or similar PDM/document management systems.
• Experience creating: 3D models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing and production teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and revision control.

Aufgaben

• Create and modify 3D models, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Manage CAD files, revisions, and engineering documentation using Autodesk Vault.
• Collaborate with engineering, drafting, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are accurate and production-ready.
• Update and revise existing models and drawings based on design changes and customer requirements.
• Create documentation to support fabrication, assembly, and installation activities.
• Maintain revision control and proper file organization within Vault.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to drafting standards and CAD workflows.
