Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Designer Drafter to join our Design team in Tualatin, Oregon. You will develop 3D models and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor, create engineering documentation for new products and enhancements, and design fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing operations.

As a key contributor, you will ensure designs meet customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities, support NPD from concept to production release, and maintain strict

Qualifications

• Approximately three (3) years of mechanical design experience using Autodesk Inventor 2018 or newer.
• Approximately three (3) years of 2D drafting experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience creating complete engineering documentation including fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience working with engineering change management systems.
• Ability to work with both metric and U.S. customary units.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience designing for metal fabrication environments, including welding processes and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and create detailed 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce engineering drawings and documentation for new products and product enhancements.
• Design fabrication fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids for new and existing products.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, functional objectives, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Support new product development from concept through production release.
• Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings and BOMs.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and configuration control per company standards.
• Process engineering revisions and design updates through change management procedures.
• Work with metric and U.S. customary units.
