Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to create design drawings from layouts and models for manufacturing purposes. You will support CAD Designers by preparing working drawings for basic shelters and mechanical and electrical modifications, including rack installations, ECU installations, entry panel installations, lighting, power distribution, and other ancillary items.

The role requires proficiency in drafting, GD&T, and 2D CAD; a minimum of two years of post-schooling drafting experience;

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting, GD&T, and 2D CAD with Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Two years of post-schooling drafting experience.
• Experience with large assemblies, hundreds or thousands of parts.

Responsibilities

• Create design drawings for manufacturing using layouts, models, and other information.
• Support CAD Designers by generating working drawings for modifications such as rack installations and power distribution.
• Meet established CAD schedules and budget requirements.
