Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to contribute to the Scissor NPD Engineering team. You will design, model, and test mechanical systems, create ECNs, and update BOMs while collaborating with global engineers.

You will work on prototype to production builds, perform calculations, and support supplier and internal teams with problem-solving efforts. Strong CAD knowledge and internship experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, model and test mechanical systems integrated with JLG products.
• Create and manage ECNs using PLM system.
• Update bills of materials to reflect changes.
• Assist on assembly floor during prototype or production builds.
