Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to assist the Customer Support Engineering team. You will design, model and test mechanical systems and work on a range of projects from routine tasks to complex analyses.

You will gain experience with Creo Parametric and other CAD tools, contribute to ECN/BOM updates, and collaborate with global engineering resources to support manufacturing, supply chain and operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or interest in mechanical design and SAE teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with Creo Parametric, Pro-E, CATIA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, model and test new mechanical systems that integrate with JLG products.
• Assist in ECN creation and BOM updates as part of product changes.
• Collaborate with global engineering resources to review vehicle component layouts.
• Generate engineering calculations for weight distribution and stress analysis.
