Job summary

ProMach’s 2027 Summer Internship Program invites aspiring engineers to join as a Mechanical Engineer Intern. You will work with experienced engineers to support the design, development, and improvement of packaging machinery and automation equipment.

Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, applying engineering principles to real-world projects while developing technical, professional, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate across teams and follow safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Junior or Senior).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D/3D; Inventor experience a plus.
• Exposure to 3D modeling and simulation tools (Inventor or SolidWorks).
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist design and development of mechanical components and systems for packaging equipment.
• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Support machine layouts, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Assist prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
