Job summary

VJ X-Ray LLC in Bohemia, NY is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will design and support integrated x-ray sources and high voltage generators, collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver robust products.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, at least three years in manufacturing, and proficiency with SolidWorks (2D/3D). Experience with ERP systems (GSS ERP) and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SolidWorks for 2D/3D design.
• Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions - GSS ERP).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Mandarin Chinese language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and improve existing designs with cross-functional teams.
• Generate 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks.
• Create and document detailed drawings, BOMs and design changes (ECNs).
• Maintain process documentation in the ERP system and SharePoint.
• Communicate regularly with engineering, sales and production teams.
• Adhere to safety policies and work in a safety-sensitive role.
