Job summary

VJ X-Ray LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and document x-ray source components in a manufacturing setting. You will create 2D/3D designs in SolidWorks, develop detailed drawings, and maintain change notices and BOMs.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, production and ERP teams, ensuring drawings meet metric standards and safety procedures are followed. A strong mechanical background and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products with a cross-functional team.
• Generate 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks.
• Create and document detailed drawings per metric standards.
• Maintain Mechanical Engineering Change Notices.
• Create and modify BOMs and related design docs.
• Maintain process documentation in ERP and SharePoint.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales and production teams.
• Follow safety requirements; this is a Safety Sensitive Position.
