Job summary

VJ X-Ray LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Bohemia, NY headquarters. This full-time role focuses on monitoring Quality KPIs, inspecting products, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to meet our stringent standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with at least 3 years of manufacturing quality experience, strong communication, and proficiency with ERP systems and GSS. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years of related quality or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills enabling effective communication internally and externally.

Responsibilities

Ensure products meet or exceed customer and VJ X-Ray’s expectations and demands.
Execute the inspection and testing of products to confirm quality and conformance to product specifications.
Identify problems and root causes in the production process and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Analyze and investigate product complaints or quality issues and implement corrective actions to ensure resolution.
Maintain logs for identifying and reporting issues to Management, Engineering and Sales Teams.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Sales and Quality Teams to manage document control and procedures.
