Job summary

VJ X-Ray LLC in Bohemia, NY, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve documentation, ECN workflows, and product-data integrity across engineering, operations, and PLM.

You will own BOM structures, update work instructions and SOPs, and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, QA, and production to keep data accurate in the ERP system (GSS). Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks and lean manufacturing knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or closely related field).
• 1+ year experience in an advanced technology manufacturing environment.
• ECN processes: creation, review, and approval across sites.
• Create, structure, and maintain Bills of Materials throughout the lifecycle.
• Read and interpret 2D/3D CAD designs (SolidWorks preferred).
• Validate data against design specs and customer needs.
• Maintain ERP data including part numbers and revisions.
• Develop SOPs and manufacturing work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, QA, and production.
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities
