Job summary

VJ X-Ray LLC (VJX) is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor Quality KPI’s, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure high-quality products globally.

Onsite, five days a week in Bohemia, NY, with responsibilities including inspection, root-cause analysis, documentation, and coordination with Engineering, Production, Sales and Quality teams. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum of three years of quality or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices.
• Ability to read BOMs, blueprints, drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet or exceed customer and VJ X-Ray’s expectations and demands.
• Execute the inspection and testing of products to confirm quality and conformance to product specifications.
• Identify problems and root causes in the production process and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze and investigate product complaints or quality issues and implement corrective actions to ensure resolution.
• Maintain logs and report issues to Management, Engineering and Sales Teams.
• Create and maintain reports and communicate findings and corrective actions to management.
