Responsibilities

• Research new technologies to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Manage new product design projects and implement changes.
• Construct prototypes and validate usage against specifications.
• Coordinate testing with vendors and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform life cycle testing on materials to verify reliability.
• Create project scope, budgets and timelines for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with certification bodies (e.g. UL) for product approvals.
• Redesign products for custom applications or functions.
• Troubleshoot and support engineering-related production issues.
