Job summary

Won-Door Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to plan and design products, tools, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment and processes. You will work with multiple engineering disciplines to improve quality, efficiency, and production volume, interpreting tests and resolving operational problems in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Research new and existing technologies to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Manage new product design projects and implement product changes.
• Construct prototypes and validate usage against specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors and certification bodies for product approvals (e.g. UL).
• Perform life cycle testing on cost-reduction materials to verify compliance with specifications.
• Compile technical data for distributors’ project submittals and support field issues.
