Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience to join our engineering team and support the development of new products from initial concept through production launch. This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who will be exposed to the full product development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and product launch.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of new mechanical products from concept through production.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Develop prototypes and test designs to improve performance.
• Perform engineering analysis and resolve design issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure production-ready designs.
• Support ECOs and maintain accurate product documentation.
• Participate in NPI and production launch activities.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams.

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience to join our engineering team and support the development of new products from initial concept through production launch.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who wants exposure to the full product development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and product launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of new mechanical products from concept through production.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Develop prototypes and work with engineering teams to test and improve designs.
• Perform engineering analysis and help identify and resolve design issues.
• Work closely with Manufacturing to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
• Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities.
• Assist with product testing, validation, and qualification.
• Troubleshoot issues identified during prototype builds and production.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners on components and production requirements.
• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain accurate product documentation.
• Participate in new product introductions (NPI) and production launch activities.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and other engineering teams.
• Help transition products from engineering prototypes into full-scale production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with product design and development.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D CAD and engineering drawings.
• Experience working with prototypes and testing.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative engineering environment.
• Experience taking a product from concept through production launch is highly preferred.
