Advantest America is seeking a proactive Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of complex system-level products from concept through launch. You will drive prototyping, qualification, and pilot builds, while applying DFM/DFA to optimize manufacturability, quality, and cost.

You will develop CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation, and collaborate across Electrical, Optical, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth transfer to high-volume

Qualifications

• Experience designing mechanical systems for complex products.
• Knowledge of DFM and DFA principles to improve manufacturability and cost.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the development and launch of complex system-level products from concept through high-volume manufacturing. This role will drive mechanical design, prototyping, product validation, and manufacturing transfer while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of system-level products.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including prototyping, qualification, pilot builds, and production ramp.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Develop CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Optical, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of product and manufacturing issues.
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to support production readiness and volume manufacturing.
• Support ECOs, design reviews, and product lifecycle management.
