Textron Systems in Utah is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II/III to contribute to the detailed design of structural components and assemblies used in military applications. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, create data packages, and transition designs to production while developing technical documentation for proposals.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance; prior experience with CAD, GD&T, and Siemens NX/Teamcenter is highly valued.

Competenze

• Experience with mechanical and structural design for aerospace/defense applications.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD tools and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to develop and present technical data packages and proposals.

Mansioni

• Participate in the detailed design of structural components.
• Develop and integrate mechanical components and systems.
• Create Technical Data Packages with 3D drawings, specifications and materials lists.
• Prepare and direct high quality mechanical and electro-mechanical drawings.
• Transition product design to production and test.
• Write technical and proposal documents.
• Create detailed design reports and presentations summarizing results.
