Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to join our Weapon Systems team. This full-time role focuses on mechanical design for military applications, requiring strong CAD skills, DFMA, and integration of components into assemblies.

The candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance; excellent communication and collaboration with suppliers and multi-disciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive CAD design experience for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Knowledge of DFMA and manufacturability considerations.
• Experience with high-temperature, high-load mechanical systems and aeroshell design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in detailed design of structural components and assemblies.
• Develop technical data packages with 3D drawings and BOMs.
• Transfer designs to production and support testing.
• Create design reports and presentations summarizing results.
